From May 2025, Miele is offering new, network-enabled thermal disinfectors to meet individual requirements in every dental practice. The illuminated wash cabinet in the 60 cm wide undercounter machines makes loading easier and the colour touch display is intuitive to use. Proven technology such as pressure and spray arm monitoring ensures safe and efficient instrument reprocessing. Two systems are available for the subsequent drying process.
With the EasyStore tray and container system, which will be available from June 2025, Miele is offering a fast, cost-effective and sustainable solution for reprocessing dental instruments methodically and storing them safely until they are next used. All of its components are coordinated with each other and optimise how Miele undercounter thermal disinfectors, large-chamber disinfectors from the SlimLine series and sterilisers are used together. Staff will also benefit from the new products.
The Miele MOVE MedDent+ portal supports dental practices in complying with regulatory requirements for instrument reprocessing – and includes a personal approval process. In addition, it can be used on mobile devices to check in real time which thermal disinfectors and sterilisers are in operation and when reprocessing will be complete.
For more than 60 years, Miele has been synonymous with reliability and innovation in the field of medical technology. The Gütersloh-based family-owned company is now taking its system solution for dental care centres and practices to the next level – with a comprehensive portfolio of process chemicals and an improved formula for the highly effective ProCare Dent 10 MA cleaning agent. The biggest advantage is that the product no longer needs to be labelled as a hazardous substance.
Miele’s new thermal disinfectors are ideal for practices where large volumes of instruments need to be reprocessed. With a width of just 65 centimetres, the models from the SlimLine series can be installed in rooms where space is limited. They can easily be integrated into a network or monitored remotely via Miele’s online portals. Furthermore, intelligent technology adjusts the pump performance to guarantee a fast cleaning phase and to save water in the rinse phase.
Regular inspections and maintenance procedures play a huge role in ensuring that thermal disinfectors, sterilisers and other commercial machines function reliably over the long term. With PROtect, Miele Professional offers comprehensive protection and optimum service for these machines. Packages for defined preventative services provide planning security in day-to-day work and range from simple inspections to all-round protection where all costs are covered.
