Miele MOVE MedDent+ for convenient documentation and backup of process data

Gütersloh/Cologne, March 25, 2025 No. 034/2025
  • Extended process documentation with personalised approval

  • Unlimited number of machine connections and users

The Miele MOVE MedDent+ portal supports dental practices in complying with regulatory requirements for instrument reprocessing – and includes a personal approval process. In addition, it can be used on mobile devices to check in real time which thermal disinfectors and sterilisers are in operation and when reprocessing will be complete.

Free networking and registration of Miele thermal disinfectors and sterilisers from the CUBE and CUBE X series in the Miele MOVE Connect platform ensures that relevant notifications are transmitted. For example, users can be notified on a smartphone, tablet or PC when a machine is ready to be unloaded. This saves staff from making any unnecessary trips and allows them to organise their daily work more efficiently.

The Miele MOVE MedDent+ add-on is subject to subscription fees. It provides additional services and enables important process data such as the A0 value, temperatures and running times to be monitored. The data available as text information and process value curves is part of the documentation in the Miele Cloud, which automatically saves it and assigns it to the respective user. Practices therefore have a backup, enhancing security in day-to-day operations and reducing the burden on staff. Any number of machines can be connected and access is unlimited – no matter how many employees are using the digital solution. All data and protocols are retained for three years and can be downloaded at any time.

Another practical aspect is the fact that – at the customer’s request – fault messages can be transmitted directly to the Miele Customer Service contact or to an authorised service partner, without the customer having to make a call. The data that is transmitted makes it easier for service personnel to identify the cause of any issues, enabling them to rectify them faster. What’s more, having the information in advance means technicians will have the spare parts they need from the first call-out.
