With more than 6 decades of experience in the development of laboratory glasswashers under its belt, Miele stands like hardly any other brand for the efficient and safe reprocessing of laboratory glassware. 'A promise that endures' is therefore the motto used by Miele Professional to say 'thank you' to its customers on the occasion of its 125-year company anniversary: Clients in Germany purchasing an undercounter or SlimLine laboratory glasswasher by October 31 2024 will receive a €250 net voucher for 'ProCare Lab' process chemicals specially developed for Miele appliances. Similarly, the use of the Miele MOVE online portal including process documentation will be available at attractive anniversary terms and conditions.
Connectivity via the Miele MOVE portal makes reprocessing in Miele undercounter laboratory glasswashers safer and more convenient – thanks to digital real-time information and data on process cycles. The remote monitoring of key process parameters, for instance, is possible, helping to keep track of which machines are running and whether there is a sufficient supply of chemicals. Where necessary, contact to Miele Service can also be quickly established.
With a width of only 65 cm, Miele laboratory glasswashers from the SlimLine series are the ideal fit when lots of laboratory glassware has to be washed clean where space is limited. The PLW 7111 generation is connectivity-enabled, can be operated via the Miele MOVE Internet portal and offers an enlarged chamber. Maximum flexibility during loading is facilitated by the EasyLoad system. Furthermore, intelligent technology adjusts circulation pump capacity, guaranteeing speed during the main wash and saving water in the rinse cycle.
With large-chamber laboratory glasswashers from the PLW 86 series, Miele offers a high-performance model range with machines which are easily loaded using a trolley. This increases capacity and makes for stress- and strain-free working – which also includes employees of small stature.
With its steam sterilizers from the VS-L series, Miele's subsidiary Steelco represents a reliable and efficient solution for which there is big demand, above all, in laboratories in the fields of research and science. These applications often require the reprocessing of heat- and moisture-resistant materials – for instance metal parts and sealed or vented containers for liquids. Similarly, waste classified in biosafety levels (BSL) S 1-4, ranging from uncomplicated laboratory waste through to highly infectious pathogens, must be decontaminated. The single-door VS 262839 L steam sterilizer with a chamber volume of 462 l is designed for a mid-range capacity and is characterised by short programme cycles and low water and electricity consumption combined with top-level safety.
With innovative products, Miele is to set out its stall on April 9 at the Analytica trade show in Munich (Hall B1, Booth 302). The focal point will be live events, including a demonstration of laboratory glassware reprocessing which will be staged several times each day. Furthermore, visitors can gather information on networked and space-saving lab washers from the SlimLine generation, the Miele MOVE online portal and numerous other products used to efficiently reprocess laboratory glassware. For the ultimate in hygiene, the company will also be presenting a steam steriliser manufactured by Miele's Steelco subsidiary. This product was specifically designed for use in research and development laboratories.
