Digital solution for efficient device, data and process management
With more than 6 decades of experience in the development of laboratory glasswashers under its belt, Miele stands like hardly any other brand for the efficient and safe reprocessing of laboratory glassware. 'A promise that endures' is therefore the motto used by Miele Professional to say 'thank you' to its customers on the occasion of its 125-year company anniversary: Clients in Germany purchasing an undercounter or SlimLine laboratory glasswasher by October 31 2024 will receive a €250 net voucher for 'ProCare Lab' process chemicals specially developed for Miele appliances. Similarly, the use of the Miele MOVE online portal including process documentation will be available at attractive anniversary terms and conditions.
High-performance undercounter laboratory glasswashers are the staple cleaning products of smaller laboratories, integrating seamlessly into runs of cabinetry and offering spray pressure which is modulated to suit the needs of individual programme phases. This conserves large amounts of water and energy – without compromising on excellent cleaning performance. The EasyLoad accessory system facilitates the fast and automatically correct positioning of laboratory glassware in suitable load carriers. Injector nozzles ensure the thorough cleaning of interior surfaces.
The SlimLine glasswashers of the PLW 7111 series with a width of only 65 cm represent an ideal solution for medium-size laboratories as they reprocess huge volumes of lab glassware on the smallest of footprints. The most recent generation even features the EasyLoad system for the first time – a system roughly doubling the capacity for 100 ml bottles.
Large-chamber laboratory glasswashers from the PLW 86 model series meet the needs of large central laboratories requiring high capacity and throughput. Here, too, EasyLoad further boosts efficiency. The APLW 511 load carrier increases the maximum capacity for small and medium-size items of laboratory glassware by more than 50%. Additionally, Miele offers a height-adjustable load carrier for these models which takes the physical strain off staff who load machines.
With process chemicals from the ProCare Lab series, Miele offers powder and liquid detergents for a variety of applications and soils to ensure the reprocessing of laboratory utensils for analytical work whilst preserving the value of materials. All detergents can be ordered with just a few clicks of the mouse from Miele's online shop for commercial products. Automatic and safe dispensing of liquid products is the responsibility of dispenser modules which also remind users when chemicals need replenishing.
The web-based Miele MOVE online portal makes it possible to transfer data to mobile devices. This makes it possible, for example, to check remotely whether important process parameters are being adhered to, which appliances are in operation and whether sufficient cleaning chemicals are available. If necessary, contact with Miele Service is also quickly established. In addition, Miele MOVE displays important process data that is crucial for analytically clean laboratory glassware, such as temperatures and running times. The corresponding data can be exported and saved – including the graphical display of progress curves as a prerequisite for clear process documentation. Customers receive these functions free of charge for one year as part of the "MOVE Starter" package during the promotional period until 31 October 2024 after purchasing a promotional device.
