SlimLine: Extra slim commercial dryer – connectivity and larger load capacity
Gütersloh/Essen, April 23, 2024No. 056/2024
Economical and climate-friendly model with heat pump
With three easy-to-use sets of controls and an iron grey front
Only 71 cm wide, offering ample space for textiles, and connectivity-enabled: Miele offers new dryers from the SlimLine series which complement the current portfolio of laundry machines in terms of design thanks to their intuitive controls and their iron grey front.
The SlimLine dryers take up a footprint of less than 1 m². Depending on the heating – electric, gas or heat pump – they cater for loads of between 11 and 16 kg (previously 10 to 15 kg). They have either time or residual moisture controls. All models feature an easy-to-use display and a rotary selector.
The heat-pump dryer from this model series uses 60% less energy than a comparable dryer with electric heating. This is guaranteed by a new module using a coolant which has only 42% of the global warming potential of the refrigerant it replaces. In the highly unlikely event of a leakage in which coolant is released to atmosphere, this offers much better protection of the environment.
All SlimLine dryers can be connected to the Miele MOVE online portal. This makes it easy, for example, to check when machines are finished and can be unloaded from the convenience of a smartphone, tablet or PC. It also allows consumption and process data to be saved, and, where necessary, rapidly establishes contact to Miele Service.
With a higher door, a larger door opening and an opening angle of 180°, the SlimLine dryers offer the perfect conditions for ergonomic loading and unloading. Thanks to an open-fronted plinth, these products are easy to manoeuvre using a palletiser and pass through standard doors with ease.
