Naturally stylish: the new Pearlbeige colour for Miele built-in appliances
-
Handleless ArtLine models blend seamlessly into numerous interior design concepts
-
Neutral, warm shade is a combination of grey and beige
The on-trend colour beige is all the rage in the world of interiors. Just like black, it creates an elegant and timeless addition to a whole range of different surroundings and design concepts. Pearlbeige is Miele’s interpretation of this modern shade and lends built-in kitchen appliances a discreet appearance – especially when it is used in the handleless ArtLine design range.
A mixture of grey and beige, Pearlbeige adds a gently shimmering grey element to high-gloss glass surfaces. Miele appliances in this hue complement lighter and darker colours and materials equally well – while bringing something different to the design palette in every setting. Used alongside white or pastel shades, Pearlbeige creates an airy, light home environment. Combining this soft earth tone with dark wood or black accents, meanwhile, gives kitchens a look that is striking but still warm. With its subtle effects, Pearlbeige is able to create an overall sense of harmony in a range of surroundings.
Pearlbeige truly comes into its own in the ArtLine design range, whose minimalist concept is completely handleless: appliances in this style open at the touch of a sensor control on the flush-fit Touch2Open user interface. On ovens, for example, the sensor control unlocks the door using a motor, causing it to slide down smoothly.
A full range for kitchens
The ArtLine design range in Pearlbeige includes ovens, combination steam ovens (both of which are available for 45 cm and 60 cm niches) and compact microwave combination ovens. Also available to complement these appliances are built-in coffee machines, warming and vacuum drawers. A standout element in any kitchen is the Sienna cooker hood (DAH 4980 Sienna Pearlbeige) – an angled cooker hood that leaves plenty of headroom above the hob, even accommodating very tall people. Its design blends seamlessly with other appliances thanks to the control elements integrated into the glass canopy – and, just like the glass element, the body of the canopy features the subtle Pearlbeige shade. Compared to other angled cooker hoods from Miele, the ventilation technology in the 90 cm Sienna model emits just 50 decibels of sound, making it around 20 percent quieter* despite its exceptional air throughput.
Completing the range is a selection of built in wine-units available in two models: KWT 6422 iG-1 for 88 cm niches and KWT 7112 iG measuring 45 cm in height. The larger model is able to hold 33 Bordeaux-size bottles, while its smaller counterpart can accommodate 18 – a substantial collection in a compact space. Additionally, the larger of the models features two individually adjustable temperature zones, and both come with TouchControl panels, two beechwood shelves, dynamic cooling and networking capability.
Alongside the Pearlbeige option, Miele built-in appliances are available in Graphite Grey, Obsidian black (matt or gloss) and Stainless Steel CleanSteel – a selection which, combined with the extensive range of products available, opens up a range of design options that almost no other manufacturer can rival.
The Pearlbeige appliances are set to be launched in January 2025.
