Miele offers greater capacity and flexibility in reprocessing laboratory glassware
Gütersloh/Munich, April 10, 2018No. 050/2018
Modular inserts offering more than 100 loading options
Miele Professional offers matching inserts for laboratory glassware of virtually all shapes and sizes, guaranteeing thorough reprocessing in the current series of lab washers. As a result, more than 100 different load configurations can be achieved with Miele's versatile load carrier system.
Whether laboratory phials, round or Erlenmeyer flasks, pipettes or whatever: With only four different load carriers, Miele Professional clients are now able to configure a loading system to suit their individual and specific requirements. Two laboratory modules can be fitted on each of the two rack levels. Fitting in the upper and lower baskets is both simple and intuitive.
In addition to the four basic modules, a special module for large-capacity measuring cylinders has recently been introduced. This module features coated rests which prevent scratches to glassware. And as cylinders are placed in the module at an angle, water residue which would otherwise collect in the pedestals can drain off freely, ensuring good drying performance.
Thanks to the new lab washers from Miele Professional, users benefit from improved flexibility, convenience and additional space: As the heater elements have been relocated from inside the cabinet to the new and patented circulation pump, the space vacated is available in full to load carriers. This, for example, allows 128 laboratory phials or 98 pipettes to be reprocessed in a single cycle, the latter together with other laboratory glassware.
The wide range of loading options offered by the Miele system is put to good use by the Research and Development Centre at the Dr. Oetker food processing company in Bielefeld, where Miele lab washers are in constant use.
