Miele dishwashers for respiratory equipment at fire stations – with capacities to meet every need
Gütersloh/Dresden, October 10, 2024No. 116/2024
Cleaning and disinfection devices in various sizes
With inserts for compressed air cylinders and carrying racks
After each call-out, respiratory equipment must be hygienically reprocessed. Depending on the requirements and available space at the fire station, Miele offers suitable solutions for this application. Compressed air cylinders and their carrying racks can also be cleaned at the same time.
With a width of only 65 cm, the two PLW 7111 Safety appliances are an ideal solution when space is limited. They are connectivity-enabled, can be operated via the Miele MOVE Internet portal and offer an enlarged chamber. Furthermore, intelligent technology adjusts circulation pump capacity, guaranteeing speed during the main wash and saving water in the rinse cycle. Both models reprocess 16 masks safely and efficiently, and one is available with integrated drying. A new feature in this series is the cleaning of two compressed air cylinders or two carrying frames.
The large-capacity washers from the PLW 86 Safety model series can also be used for reprocessing fire-fighters' respiratory equipment. For example, 24 breathing masks can be used to clean up to two levels. These appliances also offer space for four large compressed air cylinders. Alternatively, one rinsing cycle prepares four carrying racks.
The large-capacity washers are optionally available with drying and as single- or double-door versions. The latter, when installed in a diaphragm wall, enables the segregation of the clean and dirty operations in a respiratory apparatus workshop, preventing the spread of germs and enabling maximum hygiene safety.
