125 Gala Edition: ArtLine handleless kitchen appliances in elegant Obsidian black matt

Gütersloh/Rödinghausen, September 20, 2024 No. 107/2024
  • Free 125-week extended warranty to mark Miele’s anniversary

  • Induction hobs with unique ceramic glass surface

Whether it’s blending harmoniously into a dark kitchen design concept or standing out against a light backdrop, the ArtLine range of built-in appliances in elegant Obsidian black matt opens up a whole host of design options. These appliances come with an extra incentive to mark Miele’s anniversary year: the 125 Gala Edition is eligible for a free 125-week extended warranty – added onto the standard warranty.

The promotional range includes ovens, compact microwave combination ovens, warming and vacuum drawers, built-in coffee machines and a wine unit, plus induction hobs with a special matt black ceramic glass surface. Completing the 125 Gala Edition are a cooker hood and a freestanding fridge-freezer.

A standout feature of the Obsidian matt black ArtLine models is their handleless design: appliances open at the touch of a sensor control, allowing oven doors, for example, to slide down smoothly. The new colour is also in full display on the door. The glass surface has a fine texture, giving it a different look and feel from conventional glass fronts.

MattFinish ceramic glass on hobs repels scratches and fingerprints

Miele offers two induction hobs with MattFinish ceramic glass to go with its ArtLine range in Obsidian black matt, using a material that not only enhances the minimalist hob design but is also highly scratch-resistant. It reduces scratches from sand by some 80 percent, for example, helping hobs hold onto their high-quality looks for years to come. The textured surface also has the advantage of virtually hiding any fingerprints impressed on it. What’s more, the model featuring integrated vapour extraction (KMDA 7876 FL 125 Gala Edition) and a second hob with PowerFlex cooking zones (KM 7576 FL 125 Gala Edition) have been honoured with the iF Design Award 2024, with the jury praising their minimalist design. Discreet white lines indicate where to position cookware and griddle plates, while the power level displays are also designed in white.

New angled cooker hood delivers efficient ventilation technology and customisable lighting

Customers seeking out an angled cooker hood need look no further than the model featuring a glass panel in Obsidian black matt. The body of the canopy has a shallower depth and lower height than previous models, lending it an elegant, discreet appearance, while the steeper angle of the glass gives taller people more room to move around during cooking.

The new DynamicWhite feature allows the hood lighting to blend beautifully into the kitchen environment with a colour temperature selection option that can be adjusted in the Miele app. This makes it possible to cast LED lighting onto the kitchen in a colour temperature range from warm white (2700 kelvins) to cool white (6500 kelvins) – and the intensity can be adjusted too. Meanwhile, the energy-saving ECO motor achieves outstanding performance values and meets the criteria of energy efficiency class A++. Not only that, but this model creates sound emissions that are around 20 percent* lower than other angled cooker hoods from Miele, while still delivering exceptional air throughput. The matt black appliance option is available in a width of 90 centimetres.

Wine unit and freestanding fridge-freezer round off the range

The new matt black KWT 7112 iG built-in wine unit is able to accommodate a small yet sophisticated collection of favourite wines: made for 45 cm niches, the appliance provides space for 18 bottles and is equipped with an Active AirClean filter, flexible beechwood shelves (FlexiFrame) and LED lighting. This model is also handleless and is opened using a Push2open mechanism.

Model KFN 4799 AD in Obsidian black matt is available for customers who want a freestanding fridge-freezer combination – plus, its elegant design has no visible handles either. The model is also a highly sustainable option, meeting the criteria of energy efficiency class A and featuring the PerfectFresh Pro system.

With every model in the 125 Gala Edition promotional range, Miele is including a free 125-week extended warranty that can be activated easily in the Miele app.
